I forgot what it's like to have energy. I seriously hit my pillow so hard and pass out every night. WE ARE SO TIRED. BUT WHAT A BLESSING TO BE SO EXHAUSTED :) We are busy as ever. Here is the week in review: Last pday we had a plants pday and went and found some cool plants and took some nice comp pics in the forest. yes it was raining. No we haven't seen the sun all week. But dont worry mom I have my vitamin D tablets that I take daily so my skin doesnt die. Then we had exchanges with the hermanas de Graham where Hermana McGarity came here to the Fed. We had an awesome opportunity to prestar servicio and we went and helped tear up carpet from this office building for 3 hours. My forearms are still sore in typing this letter.. but it was an awesome way to help show how BUFF MISSIONARIES ARE. And my buff I definitely mean spiritually. But Hermana Mcgarity was here for the whole thing and wow it jsut made me realize how much i love exchanges because they teach ME so much! This week we also increased so much in unity with the elders in our branch. So for most of the time ive been here in federal way its been like this annoying vibe between us and the elders because theres almost like a jealousy when the other was teaching a good family and i hated it because its all one work! This week we recieved so much revelation while planning of families that the elders need to start teaching and theyn they did too so we were switching off investigators and really starting to find the key for the area to help these people come unto Christ. So many miracles came from it! Including that the elders are now teaching the boyfriend of Petra who has come to church a ton but never home when we teach Petra so we've been trying to figure it out and it jsut came that he needs the elders. So now he's learning and has a wife in mexico but wants to divorce her so he can marry petra and petra is like a power woman and says like 'whatever i'm getting baptized so whatever works". SHES SO AMAZING. We are hoping that satanas will be TIED UP this week and everything goes well so she can make this covenant with our heavenly father :) More service we prested this week was the ward had a huge activity to help the jovenes raise money for camps this summer and they put the branch in charge of all the food... clasico... so we helped make over 1500 ENCHILADAS. What a blessing. We are still eating the extras. I LOVE HISPANIC FOOD. At the activity, all the mujeres jovenes and hombres jovenes had differnt like acts they did and our lil investigator kimberly was in the mujeres jovenes dances and she was SO CUTE AND LOVED IT. I want to raise my future family in a spanish branch because wow they just love dancing and love life. Anyways, miracles and miracles later, we were brought to the Sabbath where it literally gives me so much strength and peace just entering the chapel and realizing that I did nothing this week but our Heavenly Father did so much. The church is true and I'm so grateful to be a missionary. Ew side note they sent me this sick letter saying I was halfway done with my mission this week.... Still in denial. LOVE YOU ALL Hermana Reed Picturas!!
1-3 comp pics or engagement pics??? 4 all i see every day 5 how to know that hispanics are close 6 the reason ive slept so well all week

RECUERDAN HACE DOS MIL ANOS CUANDO JESUCRISTO SE RESUCITO?!?!?!?! Y COMO AHORA TODOS DE NOSOTROS TAMBIEN NOS RESUCITAREMOS!!! QUE DIA GLORIOSO ES!!!!!! For real, I just love Easter and I love being a missionary and talking about Jesus Christ all the time. This week I have been reading this book called Jesus the Christ like a madwoman. It has like 700 pages and considering missionaries have like 0 down time to just read it has taken me my whole mission to get here to page like 600 where it is talking about the Atonement and the trial and the crucifixion but this week on Easter Sunday I finished reading about Christ's ministry to his apostles after the resurrection and his ascenscion. All I can say is that it is so undeniably true. Christ he LIVES!!! I'm so grateful for him. This week for His work of preaching the gospel to all the world, we saw so many tender mercies and miracles. First of all an update on Petra: she is just so incredibly incredible. We have been crash coursing all her lessons and she just soaks em up and is reading the book of mormon every day and she cries in every lesson because she just feels the spirit so strong. I love her so much. She came to church and we had a pretty heavy lesson on priesthood and all the offices and what each priesthood does and the whole time she just smiled and nodded and would look at me and nod and give me a thumbs up and wow she's just so amazing. Totally prepared by the Lord, not anything we did, but I'm grateful God is letting me get to know her. Another miracle was we had one of our investigators, Celia, come to church for the first time and I almost passed out I was so excited. WE've been teaching her since I first got here to the area and her husband thinks he lacks faith so he basically uses that as an excuse not to do anything but this week she was like no I'm going to church anyway and she came alone and just loved it and I couldve cried I was so happy. THE CHURCH IS SO TRUE. This week I went on an exchange with the hermanas in Kent and it was just so good. We were talking to this investigator, Jose, he's 18 and while we were talking he said "hold on" and runs off and he runs to this car driving away with a flat tire! Turns out it was this lil old russian man and his wife who spoke no English and we got to help them change their tire and it was so cute they were so grateful. I just love lil' moments like that. Also Jose is awesome He's 18 and just loves serving people. Do they get better than that? It was awesome being and learning so much from hermana Baird. As for Easter, it was a pretty awesome Easter. We basically just mexican fiesta hopped all around this huge trailer park and shared the prince of peace video. I probably watched it like 20 times yesterday and every time it gets even better. The church is so true and Christ lives and gives us strength EVERY DAY. For which I am so grateful. Another Easter miracle is someone ding dong ditched an easter basket on our porch. Dont lie mom I know it was you. LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. Hermana Reed Picturas!
Aqui es nuestra semana: This week, we started teaching Petra more. She is the mom of the member that we knocked into last week and her literal first words after we said the opening prayer "Okay que tengo que hacer para bautizarme?". WOAH OKAY HEY. It was amazing. We told her about the charlas and la ley de castidad, to which she responded (because she lives with her boyfriend) "Voy a preguntarle si el quiere casarse conmigo, pero si dice no, el tiene que irse". HEY THERE POWER HITTER. She is such a strong lady and so so so so ready for the gospel which is crazy because she says she's been to church loads of times but recently something has just changed and she knows its time for her to get baptized. INCREIBLE. We also starting teaching Maricella and Kimberly, the cousin of this same member (this member is a powerhouse, Hermana Vallejo). They are both super interested. Watched conference and she said the spirit told her if she wants to know the truth, she has to read the book of mormon. I definitely agree thats a good way to find out! They are all amazing and I just feel so blessed to be able to know them and teach them here. We also had MLC this week which is mission leadership conference. I just love learning from all of these incredibly experienced missionaries and mostly realizing there is so much I want to change and improve in my missionary work and who I am as a person. Good thing the Lord is nice and patient with me hehe. This is Hermana Huhem's last transfer *insert tears* so who knows what's going to happen with the hermana lideres but it should be.. crazy. This week we also had a big Easter activity we've been planning for a while with our branch. It went super well. I got some sweet ideas from all the christmas activities mom has thrown and we got all the members to bring a picture of christ or a picture of their family and we put them all in the front of the chapel so there were like a bunch of pictures of Christ and we watched this powerpoint one of our members made of the living Christ. If anyone reading this hasnt read that document or hasnt read it in the last month, go read it right now and remember that CHRIST LIVES! He's the reason we do everything and can do everything. Then we showed the new video and had everyone there read it! If you haven't seen prince of peace, also go check that out and the 8 sub videos of how we can find more peace in life through christ at mormon.org :) THE CHURCH IS SO TRUE AND IM SO HAPPY :) lo mas que sabe.... VAYAN Y APRENDAN. I hope you all have a happy Easter and you take some time to really think about the impact it has that we know that Christ lives. It's pretty big. Los quiero! Hermana Reed IV Picturas!!!
1 MLC 2 Monae wants to be a missionary someday too 3 hna huhem was my comp for a day aka i accomplished my mission goal 4 tbt to the days in Graham 5 la familia fuentes 6 when you stop by to teach a lesson but you run into a mexican fiesta and they give you italian sodas WHAT A WEEK. this week was quite possibly one of the best in my whole mission. So many miracles and tender mercies. I am so grateful for how aware the Lord is of us in this work and how he gives me PAN every day :) So this week, I had exchanges with the hermanas in Graham so i had one day with Hermana Souza and one day with Hermana Mcgarity. I love exchanges because so many miracles every time... with hermana souza it just brought me back to how i felt at the beginning of my mission and i was just so happy and realized i need to be less stressed out like i was back then. but it was so good being with my mom again :) next transfer we're hoping she'll come here and be in a trio with me and hermana short and then everywhere we go we'll talk about family history because we're 3 generations hahaha. then i went to graham with hermana mcgarity and more flashbacks from the beginning of my mission.. i feel so old! but so grateful to learn from such amazing missionaries like both of them. GENERAL CONFERENCE AM I RIGHT. I am seriously so grateful we don't live in the great apostasy and that we have modern day prophets to lead and guide us. I recieved so much guidance and answers to my questions and those of my investigators which i think is my favorite part, recieveing so much revelation. And as president monson says, if youre not reading the book of mormon every day DO IT. Couldnt have said it better myself. we had a few investigators come and watch with us and the spirit was just so strong :) I love watching it in spanish too because i think thats really the language in which god talks to me. i hope you all were able to watch just a little and feel the spirit of the lord from our modern day leaders. best part of this week: GRAEME GOT BAPTIZED!!! i was able to go down to his baptism in Graham and man i cried it was so good. He was able to be baptized by his dad and i loved how his earthly father was able to help him make a covenant with his heavenly father. the church is so true and families are forever. quote of the night, right after he came up out of the water and was hugging his dad "i love you daddy". THE TEARS THEY DID FLOW. okay im typing rigorously because i dont have much time but i love this church and this gospel and i know that families CAN be together forever because of the restored priesthood authority of God :) so grateful that i am in federal way sharing this message with the world hermana reed IV pues, aqui estamos. another week in the great fed weezy with so much action it just never stops. Heres an update on our investigators: The Fuentes family: Laticia, Destiny, and Monae. Once upon a time were going to get baptized this week. Can't because Laticia and her husband aren't married yet. Recently found our they are getting kicked out of their apartment so have been looking for a new one this whole week and haven't had time to meet with us. Decided that even though it was the sabbath that "apartment hunting was first hermanas" so weren't able to come to church ): sad but they are very stressed out about finding a place to live. We stopped by later and were able to talk with Miguel who isnt interested in learning but we are trying to help be interested in marrying, when we found out he is married to a girl in mexico who he hasnt seen for 25 years! To top that off, we dont think Laticia knows about it :) and the plot thickens... we can throw some prayers in for them if you all could. They know the church is true and want to be baptized so bad!! We are doing all we can to help them realize that is still is possible. We were teaching a lady named Maria Torres, she is from Mexico and works so so much but has always wanted to get sundays off to come to church. for about 2 months we havent been able to find her at home, so this week during weekly planning we decided we'll drop her because she hasnt been talking to us or answered at home. sad. BUT THEN, this really awesome person named Heavenly Father told us that maybe we should reconsider, and we ran into her 4 TIMES IN 3 DAYS. She explained to us so much of what is going on and how much she needs us and wants this time for God in her life. We are hoping to be able to find her home more and help her come unto Christ and make those precious covenants that can change her life around. New investigators: Christina and Nyeli. you know some people are just prepared for this gospel when they look at the pamphlet you give them and say "i think this will be a good chagne for me" before we even start teaching. They are two sisters and have been looking for a way to grow closer to God when we ran into them on the streets. God is in the details. biggest news of the week: my investigator down in Graham is getting BAPTIZED THIS COMING MONDAY. And by who? HIS DAD WHO WAS LESS ACTIVE BUT HAS REGAINED THE PREISTHOOD AND IS GOING TO BAPTIZE HIS SON. It is a miracle, and who is playing the piano for the whole program? I really dont know what I did to make them think I could play things. pray for me. As for the title of the letter, this week at church our branch president gave a great talk about the trials we face in our lives and read 3 Ne 14:10-12. Dios da pan. Dios nunca da piedras. Sometimes we look at our circumstances and think why did God give me this rock? But no, God doesnt do that. Dios da pan. and sometiems it takes time to realize it, but I promise and I testify that it's always pan. because He is our loving Heavenly Father. And we are terribly hungry. Just something to remember for your week. rejection of the week: "I am watching the sweet 16. I may have hundreds of dollars on this game so mostly i would just really really appreciate it if you would leave me alone". the church is true, even during march madness! Hermana Reed PS EVERYONE GET OUT AND WATCH YOUR GENERAL CONFERENCE THIS WEEKEND AND REMEMBER THAT MILLIONS OF YEARS PASSED WITHOUT A LIVING PROPHET ON THE EARTH SO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BLESSING WE HAVE TO HEAR FROM THEM TO LEAD AND GUIDE US YOU WILL BE BLESSED I DO SO PROMISE PLUS HOW CUTE IS THOMAS S MONSON HOW CAN YOU SKIP AN OPPORTUNITY LIKE THAT PICS:
